Twitter: where humiliating throwback photos reconnect you with the one that got away.
At least, that’s what happened to Hanna De Castro just a week into joining the social media site!

The Houston, TX native shared an old photo of herself as the victim of her mother’s quite literal attempt at a “half up half down hairstyle” for a portrait (above).
Hanna’s tweet went viral, with other users showing off their own awkward hairstyles at the hands of moms:
As the tweet gained popularity, Hanna was faced with a blast from the past — her former preschool classmate David Gonzalez (AKA “David from CPK”), who just so happened to stumble upon her post:
As fate would have it, the two instantly remembered each other:
But the story doesn’t end there. It turns out that David from CPK was Hanna’s childhood crush!
Of course, everyone immediately began shipping this viral OTP:
David seemed to be game, as he quickly dug up more memories from the twosome’s past:
Yes! They basically have to get married now!
JK — but if they do somehow end up walking down the isle, let’s hope mom isn’t the one who styles Hanna’s hair. Otherwise the “something blue” will be Hanna! Ha!
