This guy is always in trouble!
There have been two arrest warrants issued for comedian Katt Williams for battery and false imprisonment due to an incident in November at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta.
Apparently Katt invited Merion Powers to the hotel to discuss a debt and when the discussion started to get heated, Powers began recording what was happening via his cell phone!
The whole thing is now caught on audio tape and according to the police report, “Mr. Williams was on audio recording stating that he did physically strike Mr. Power’s once in the nose” and that Powers’ nose “did show signs of swelling.”
The arrest warrant was issued on December 28, but Katt was never arrested.
Supposedly Powers was extorting Katt over a musical recording made by the comedian, but Katt told him to get lost prompting Powers to call hotel security. The security team ended up calling the cops, but they didn’t believe Powers and consequently did not arrest Katt.
Lucky for him, but Katt always seems to be involved in shady business of some sort. We wonder what he’ll be up to next?
