In case you missed it, in 2014, the rapper almost faced criminal charges for possessing an exotic animal. Ultimately, no charges were filed, and the animal was sent to a shelter.

According to Lions, Tigers & Bears — a non-profit rescue facility — the cat (now known as Maverick) is completely taken care of WITHOUT any help from Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend!
Founder and director Bobbi Brink says feeding Maverick costs more than $10K a year. This isn’t even including vet costs and flea control. Without Tyga’s help, the cat must depend on public donations to survive.
Poor kitty!
