The shitty economy has claimed yet another victim!
Bono and the other U2 guys have been forced to scrap plans to build Ireland’s first skyscraper because of the crap state of the global markets.
The U2 Tower was going to be built in the heart of Dublin to house a variety of luxury apartments and the group’s recording studio.
The project was projected to cost $256.8 million.
The band is reportedly set on suspending the plans indefinitely.
Bummer!
