UFC Fighter Released For Tweeting Rape "Joke"

Shame, Miguel Torres. Shame.
The UFC bantamweight fighter was released from the company after a “rape van” tweet.
In the tweet, Miguel tweeted:

If a rape van was called a surprise van more women wouldn’t mind going for rides in them.

He tried to changed it to this:

If a windowless van was called a surprise van more people wouldn’t mind going for rides in them. Everyone likes surprises.

But gratefully, it was too late.
President Dana White revealed that he released the fighter for his Twitter actions.
He went on to say he found the event disturbing, stating:

“There’s absolutely nothing I could say to make any sense of that. And the fact that he even thinks that’s funny or that’s a joke, it disturbs me. It bothers me.

Another fighter, Rashad Evans was also reprimanded recently as well.
Evans commented on the Penn State scandal inappropiately, and White also talked with him as well.
White did not release Evans.
