Is Ugly Betty running on its last leg?

ABC just announced that it’s benching the show – bumping it out of its Thursday night spot beginning in late March and replacing it with Samantha Who? and In the Motherhood.

The network says that Betty will be restored to its original slot once Samantha and Motherhood have run their courses, which means that audiences may not get their fix until June.

A publicist for ABC said, “Betty is a solid performer and there is no question that it will definitely be back to complete its season, just without repeats.”

But the rep doesn’t specify when.

Things are looking UGLY for Betty!
