Disabled Models Dazzle At Ukraine Fashion Show

The fashion world is becoming a more diverse and accepting industry every day!
On Wednesday night in Kiev, Ukraine, beautiful, disabled women and native designers got together to put on the show Fashion Chance and judging by the cheering and sometimes tearful audience, it was a HUGE success.
Ilona Slugovina, who is a wheelchair ballroom dancer and was one of the models, said:

“People on wheelchairs, the blind, the handicapped should all feel accepted.├óΓé¼┬¥

Ukrainian designer Natalia Anri added:

“God made the woman beautiful and the designer’s goal is to stress that beauty.”

Women of all disabled backgrounds were able to walk in the show. Some masterfully rolled, others were accompanied by smiling male models.
Ukraine is a country with very limited access for handicapped people, due to WWII, so this show was a way to put them in the spotlight.
It was beautiful and something that should certainly be done more often all over the world!
