UnitedHealthcare CEO Murder: Person Of Interest Only Showed Face To Flirt With Hostel Employee

In many ways this murder plot seemed very slick, even professional. But the killer was still human… and more to the point, a man.

If you’ve been under a rock this week… or under the crushing weight of medical bills perhaps, Brian Thompson, the CEO of health insurance giant UnitedHealthcare, was shot to death in the street in New York City on Wednesday morning. A gunman wearing a mask and hood waited outside a Manhattan Starbucks and at around 6:40 a.m. shot the exec several times at point-blank range with a silenced handgun. The killer then ducked into an alley, hopped on an eBike, and rode into Central Park. Apparently police lost track after that. It’s been noted how he was wearing a puffy jacket and baggy pants — and might have even had a second outfit underneath, allowing him to do a quick change once he was out of security camera view.

Like we said, feels very much like a professional assassination, if such a thing even really exists. But it seems he made a huge mistake.

If you are paying attention to the case, you’ve seen by now the NYPD has released photos they believe to be the killer, wearing a similar jacket with hood and facial covering, at an NYC hostel.

????UPDATE: Below are photos of a person of interest wanted for questioning regarding the Midtown Manhattan homicide on Dec. 4. This does not appear to be a random act of violence; all indications are that it was a premediated, targeted attack.

Right now this guy is a person of interest. They don’t know for sure he’s the killer. But they’re on the hunt for him.

The question you might be asking is, why would a man who’s about to commit cold-blooded murder, who’s being so careful with everything else, pull down his mask to reveal his face? And in front of a camera??

He was thinking with his little hitman.

Yes, as crazy as it is to believe, police sources told CNN that one witness they interviewed was the woman who was speaking to the person of interest when he revealed his face. She told them he had been wearing his mask up — but she was flirting with him and asked him to pull it down so she could see his face!

He did — and gave her a nice smile to boot! And now we have this photo, which could very well end up being the reason this man goes to prison for the rest of his life. Crazy.

Just remember the next time you think your boyfriend or some other guy “wouldn’t be dumb enough” to do something for sex… If this guy is the killer, then he might have gotten away with the murder of a multimillionaire on the street in one of the most camera-packed cities on earth. And all it took was a flirting woman to derail his plan.
