Universal Pictures has decided to push back production on Dark Tower until February to reduce the budget on the series. The Ron Howard-directed adaptation of Stephen King’s epic novel was supposed to go up this summer, but money is a bit tight and they want to make sure they are covered for the three feature films and two limited-run TV series deal before forging ahead.
Sounds like you get a summer vacay, Javier Bardem! WooHoo!
