Usain Bolt is a legend on and off the track!
He’s such a legend because he won gold in the 100 and 200-meter dash and the 4 x 100 relay, but also because he’s the most mentioned on Twitter and Facebook!
He got more mentions than Michael Phleps!
During Bolt’s 200-meter race, he got 80,000 tweets per minute, and also got 74,000 during his 100-meter.
The next person with the most tweets per minute was tennis star Andy Murray who got 57,000 tweets per minute during his gold winning performance during the men’s singles tennis final.
Bolt’s 4 x 100-meter relay got the next most with 52,000 tweets a minute.
Bolt was one of only ten athletes who got over one million Twitter mentions.
He even has more fans on Facbeook than Michael Phelps with 8 million over Phleps’ 6.2 million!
