USDA Cites SeaWorld For Endangering Animals! Take That Whale Enslavers!

The USDA cited SeaWorld for violating the Animal Welfare Act!
Ever since the documentary Blackfish came out, all eyes have been on SeaWorld. And they’re judging… hard.
Some of those judging eyes belong to the U.S. government!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture actually cited SeaWorld Orlando for violating the Animal Welfare Act!
SeaWorld can try and spin the press in their favor all they want, but the fact that they were using expired veterinary materials and they never repaired crumbling flooring that animals are made to perform on is pretty hard evidence against them.
PETA got a copy of the report and found that after an inspection, there were dozens of expired surgical sutures in the park’s surgery room.
If those had been used on an animal, it could have caused a seriously bad infection.
PETA’s Foundation Deputy General Counsel said:

“[T]he tiny tanks at SeaWorld are inherently cruel, and when the tanks and surrounding areas are also rusting, peeling, and flaking, they├óΓé¼Γäóre downright dangerous for the animals confined there.”

We hear that!!
Maybe other organizations will start raining down the fines on SeaWorld and something can finally be done about all their cruelty!
Save the whales!!
