Ouch! Did Usher get his ego bruised by this fan?
As we previously reported, at a recent stop of the R&B Tour that the singer is doing alongside Chris Brown, a fan named Gabrielle Cheyenne was brought onstage. She caused quite the viral uproar when she appeared uncomfortable, resulting in Usher sending her offstage and back to her seat. Lots of people had LOTS of opinions…

Now, the U Remind Me singer is giving his own! At his Atlanta stop, the 47-year-old addressed the situation cheekily by saying to the crowd:
“Before we get started… Don’t bring your ass up here if you don’t want to be here.”
Damn! But the next comment he made absolutely shocked the audience! He said:
“God don’t like ugly but he don’t feel good about pretty privilege either.”
OMG!!
See the video (below):
ICYMI, Gabrielle basically said she was protecting her comfort by getting offstage. She wasn’t being rude to Usher, nor did she have any hard feelings with him onstage.
In her response to the situation, she expressed her frustration with her local community reportedly hating on her, but she also said her “pretty privilege” was what got her onstage in the first place. She said she was hoping she was going to be pulled onstage for Chris and not Usher:
“First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn’t gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me?? On the big screen, where you bitches will never be???? Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started. PRETTY privileges something you hoes will never know about!! They don’t say who you’re going up there for!! Y’all wanted me to get up there and f**k him atp??”
So this is what Usher was responding to with his own comment on the situation. We can’t believe he responded like that, though! So blunt and shocking in the middle of his concert!
Fans reacted to the clip with tons of varying opinions:
“y’all making her famous farealz”
“I’m on usher side idc”
“He aint hurt he just wants his set to go smoothly”
“That’s right Usher, check that “pretty privilege” crap that she said”
“I get it but at the same time the girl was in her early 20s. She said multiple times they didn’t tell her who she was going up there for, Usher is damn near 50. She’s more attracted to CB and that’s okay. We don’t have to keep dragging it. Kindly walk her off the stage and leave it at that”
“mind you she didn’t go to the concert for usher yall need to leave that girl alone”
“I feel like we missed a bigger lesson here. He read her signs that she was uncomfortable. He stopped immediately and removed himself and her from the situation. Some men need to take notes.”
“She did a good job humbling him”
“Idk he seems a little salty lol”
“SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO LET HIM DO WHATEVER HE WANTS JUST BECAUSE HE IS A CELEBRITY.. i thought us women would stick together… but I see a celebrity can get away w everything w yall.. smh.. its very sad to see honestly.. do better”
“Why keep discussing it? Ego bruised”
