Warner Bros. has some pretty high hopes for their new Garry Marshall comedy Valentine’s Day. The movie hasn’t even opened yet and the studio is already filtering money into a sequel.
Sources say that screenwriter Katherine Fugate, who penned Valentine’s Day, has already turned in a draft for New Year’s Eve, the follow-up to the mega-star studded flick. New Year’s Eve will again have Garry Marshall at the helm and also bring back a majority of the Valentine’s Day characters.
Depending on how well VDay does this weekend, there might be no end to the holiday-focused flick franchise! After New Year’s Ever could be St. Patricks Day!
Then Labor Day! Then Halloween! (No, they did that one already.)
Do U think this is a franchise worth pursuing?
