Though many are still mourning the loss of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, no one is as hurt as Vanessa Bryant.

On Monday, the 37-year-old delivered a powerful speech at the celebration of life memorial service dedicated to her late husband and daughter who passed away with seven others on January 26.

A source close to the widow tells People she is “determined” to “be there” for her three daughters — 17-year-old Natalia, 3-year-old Bianka, and 7-month-old Capri. The insider added:

“She is very, very aware that she is not the only person who is mourning — she’s got three little girls who have lost their father and their sister. They’re mourning too. Everyone is in pain, and Vanessa understands it enough to know that she has to be there for them and available to them.”

Per the confidant, Bryant is “humbled and encouraged” by the outpouring of support she has received since the loss of the Los Angeles Lakers legend and their 13-year-old. A “good cry” has helped the mom “pull it together” in difficult times when she needs to be present for her daughters. Understandably, she needs to be strong for her girls as they grieve the loss of their father and sister:

“She knows that they can’t lose their mother in addition to their father, and she’s determined not to let that happen. They will get through this as a family.”

The insider added:

“She is heartbroken; the girls are heartbroken. She hates the fact that this will be a part of the girls’ story.”

The help of family and friends has undoubtedly been crucial over the past month since the accident, but Vanessa has also been “relying on faith” to guide her through the difficult time. The confidant revealed:

“She’s praying a lot, spending time just reflecting and meditating. She’s got a strong center, a strong faith. And she knows that Kobe did too. That comforts her.”

As you may have seen on Monday, Miz Bryant filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company that owned the helicopter that collided into a Calabasas hillside last month. Unsurprisingly, the suit places blame on the pilot, Ara George Zobayan, who also perished in the crash.

Our hearts continue to go out to Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
