Well, we’ll give her something!
She may be blunt…but she is CERTAINLY eloquent about it!
Vanessa Paradis may be speaking to the press while promoting her new film, Cornouaille, but that does not mean she’s interested whatsoever in discussing her recent split from Johnny Depp!
When asked about the matter in a recent interview, she responded:
“I don’t want to talk about him. Who said that artists should sell their soul, expose everything about themselves? ├óΓé¼┬ª It’s my duty to promote this movie, and my albums, but can you imagine what it feels like to see people making a business out of your pain. What’s happened to us is our concern.”
However, she did EVENTUALLY relent a little, and offered:
“I don’t have the recipe for happiness, but I think the engine is simply having the desire. It’s not feeling obliged or forced or repeating yourself. I hate, for example, whenever you hear someone say: ‘You have work at being a couple.’ No, you have to want to be there. And for me, I want to be right where I am right now.'”
Well, we guess that means that she’s at peace with whatever ACTUALLY is going down between these two!
We’re still unclear about those reports that they were holding hands!
