Ughhh. Haven’t we all learned this isn’t cool???
In a recent online Vanity Fair article, “The Gay Guide to Glee: Season 2, Episode 15, ‘Sexy,'” author Brett Berk chose an extremely offensive anti-gay slur to describe two of the show’s openly gay characters, Kurt and Blaine.
When discussing their rendition of Neon Trees‘ Animal, Berk writes:
“Nice singing. But how can having girls in the audience make these cartwheeling, foam-party fags straight-sexy?”
We’re very surprised that a magazine such as Vanity Fair would allow their writers to use this kind of language.
We need to make this stop!
