Victoria’s Secret models aren’t just born gorgeous, they need to work hard at keeping up their appearance and staying in shape.
So to prepare for their strut down the runway in the yearly televised fashion show in nothing but some sexy lingerie, the girls go through some intense workout regimens and awkward diets.
According to hottie Adriana Lima, she’s been working out every single day since August with a trainer. And for the last three weeks she’s been working out twice a day. Adds Lima:
“It is really intense, it’s not really the amount of time you spend working out, it’s the intensity: I jump rope, I do boxing, I lift weights, but I get bored doing that. If I am not moving I get bored very easily.”
When it comes to food intake, there doesn’t seem to be much of that going on. Lima sees a nutritionist and is prescribed vitamins, protein shakes, and supplements during her “training period.”
She also drinks a gallon of water a day!
And for nine days prior to the show, she’ll avoid all solids and only drink protein shakes which include items like powdered egg. Then two days before the show she’ll drink normally, and 12 hours before she’ll stop drinking all together.
Goodness! Sounds a bit much? Would U go through all of this to be a Victoria’s Secret model?
