This isn’t a surprise.
Just look at the current roster of Angels to note the lack of diversity — they only have two black models out of 14! The rest are all white! And they’ve NEVER had an Asian Angel either!

Victoria’s Secret has been subject to some ire thanks to their annual What Is Sexy list, which includes mostly young, white, and very thin women.
Twitter called the brand out for its blatant lack of diversity:
As a brand, VS sells sex and a certain aesthetic, we all know that. But it’s shocking and, frankly, just plain dumb that they refuse to change with the times. More and more calls for diversity are present in every aspect of society lately, and yet the powers-that-be at Victoria’s Secret seem to deliberately be closing their eyes to this.
Would it have killed them to put some plus-sized models (like Ashley Graham) and more women of color on the list??? The only WOC represented are Jamie Chung, Priyanka Chopra, and Chrissy Teigen.
Get with the times, VS — it’s 2017, not 1957.
