SO SAD!!
To celebrate the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” Randy Phillips, a gay man from the United States Air force, decided to come out to his parents.
Because he’s stationed in Germany, Randy had come out over the phone.
About a week ago he posted a video of him coming out to his father. That phone call was truly touching! His dad told Randy he loves him no matter what!! Tears!
Sadly, coming out to his mother didn’t go as well.
Last night, Randy posted his mother’s reaction, and it’s a bit disappointing. She’s not cruel, but she is acting a bit far from maternal.
We’re just glad that Randy knows he has a father AND a country that supports him!!
Hopefully his mother will realize that he’s still her son and loves her dearly.
