It’s been a while since America welcomed Tony Danza to their television screens with open arms, but that may soon change.
Rumor has it that the Who’s The Boss star and Vince Vaughn are gearing up to produce and star in an ABC sitcom together!
The premise follows three lifelong friends who have gone down very different roads, but will all begin a new chapter together “as they enter their golden years.” Their new chapter sounds like it could potentially be filled with HIGHlarious shenenigans because the trio move into a bachelor pad to be near their children and grandchildren.
Producers described the show, tentatively titled The Guys, as a “funny and honest comedy about getting older.” Being a longtime fan of Danza’s work, Vaughn could not be more excited to work with him and told sources:
“I know I’m in popular company when I say I’ve been a fan of Tony’s for a long time and am thrilled to be collaborating with him on this really funny and relatable show.”
Vaughn and Danza? Sounds funny to us!
We can’t wait to see how this collaboration turns out but we have a pretty good feeling about it.
