So the worst thing you probably expect at kiddy emporium Chuck E. Cheese is fishing your child out of a ball pen that smells like piss.
Well, if by some unfortunate turn of fate you find yourself at the Chuck E. Cheese in Susquehanna Township, Pennsylvania you might find yourself in the middle of a brawl!
Between adults!!!!!
The cops have been called to the restaurant 12 times in the past year for disorderly conduct, assault, and theft, leading to 13 arrests, only one of which was a juvenile. The year before, police made 18 visits to the establishment.
Something in the pizza?
Authorities say that the violence ususally occurs as a result of confrontations between folks with an “ongoing dispute” running into each other or between divorced parents at their kid’s birthday party.
But the incidents aren’t exclusive to Susquehanna, where one fight involved up to 20 people. There has been reported increased violence at Chuck E. Cheese’s in Brookfield, Wisconsin; Topeka, Kansas; Toledo, Ohio; and Flint, Michigan, as well as locations in central Pennsylvania.
Imagine always remembering your 8th birthday as the one dad got arrested for slapping mom at!
Fun, right?!
