Good new for those with diabetes: Eating yogurt with extra vitamin D may help diabetics regulate their blood sugar.
A study found that people who took yogurt with extra vitamin D saw a “remarkable improvement” in their blood sugar levels compared to those who just ate regular yogurt.
Scientists have suspected vitamin D’s role in regulating blood sugar for some time, but this was the first study that found a causal effect.
So if you have diabetes, start stocking up on vitamin D!
