Walmart 'Appalled' Its Website Described A Product As 'N-Word Brown' -- See The Company's Apology!

Go home Walmart, you’re drunk… and really fucking racist.
The retail titan was forced to issue an apology after a product description on its website went viral for describing a product as “N-word Brown.”

It started earlier this week when a Twitter user stumbled upon a netting weave cap available on Walmart’s website for $7.28.
While the price was attractive, the product description was NOT — and several shoppers were very disturbed the site had described the hat’s color as… well, see for yourself:

After a bevy of outraged comments, the company removed the racial slur from the description. Not only that, the product was removed from the website altogether.
Walmart quickly apologized, noting the product description was created by a third-party vendor and clearly violated its online policy.
The company said it is investigating the seller to straighten this whole thing out, writing in a statement:

“We are very sorry and appalled that this third party seller listed their item with this description on our online marketplace. It is a clear violation of our policy, and has been removed, and we are investigating the seller to determine how this could have happened.”

Those who still want to purchase the racially insensitive cap are out of luck. Clicking on the product’s link will only take users to a page that reads, “We’re having technical difficulties and are looking into the problem now.”
