Walmart‘s latest move is SO hard to believe that we’re not even sure that it’s real!
The retailer has gotten into trouble over a LOT of different things in the past, but they seem to have hit a new low this Halloween season.
According to multiple customers, Walmart’s website recently had a section dedicated to ‘Fat Girl Costumes’.
You can see the category circled in the screen shot (above)!
One woman took to Twitter to complain, and got the most generic response possible, as you can see (below):
But even thought the response was generic, Walmart seemed to take the complaint to heart because the section has been removed since then.
However, they didn’t take it down before a flurry of angry screen shots and messages surfaced on Twitter — causing a viral reaction today!
We can’t even begin to understand how or why this gross error would happen, which leads us to wonder: was this a sick joke deployed by one of Walmart’s web developers? Was it some sort of weird hacking situation?? Or did Walmart really just do that???
