Attention, Texas!!
Joe Jonas will lead a 5K run to benefit Special Olympics Texas and the JoBros’ Change for the Children Foundation.
Andi Baca Kelly, PR coordinator for Special Olympics Texas, said Joe “is a runner, and he wanted to do something that promoted health and got people moving. We’re very excited.”
The iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run will take place the morning of August 13th, less than 12 hours before the band’s sold-out San Antonio show.
A lucky fifteen runners will be randomly selected to run with Joe at the front of the race and get their pics taken with him during the meet-and-greet.
Randomly selected?! Not everyone can keep up with Joe!!
Since the goal is to raise money for charity, the top fundraisers in five categories will receive an award from the JoBro. Plus, the two top fundraisers among Special Olympics athletes will win tickets to his show that night.
We wish he’d run in one of his soundcheck costumes!
