He was arrested, and last week, tried to kill himself. While in his cell, War Machine wrote a suicide note, much of which was directed to Christy.
Parts of it read:

“Finding what I found that night was devastating to me, more than you will ever know. not just the unfaithfulness, but the way u cared for him and protected him├óΓé¼┬ª Maybe I could have just laid on our bed and cried and you’d have held me├óΓé¼┬ª I still don’t understand how I got into this mess. I don’t know why this had to happen. My life was going so well. I forgive you, please forgive me.”

War Machine also opened and closed the letter with quotes from the philosopher Nietzche, writing:

“To die proudly when it is no longer possible to live proudly.”
“Verily, I often laugh at the weaklings who think themselves good because they have no claws.”

In this case, he could have used less claws.
The fighter is being held on suicide watch, and faces 32 charges for things from attempted murder to domestic violence.
