Oh no!
In light of the horrific shooting that occurred at the Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colorado early Friday morning, execs over at Warner Bros. are considering canceling The Dark Knight Rises screenings all across the United States.
Apparently, a decision will be made either today or this weekend by the entertainment juggernaut as to whether action is needed.
It seems WB execs have been holed up in their Burbank offices since early Friday, closely monitoring the disturbing situation, and they have already decided to cancel the film’s highly anticipated Paris premiere.
While the mass-killing is an isolated incident, we’re sure there are some feeling a little wary about going to see the epic third installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, so we guess it would be smart to cut showings, simply for piece of mind.
So tragic. So senseless.
