Warren Sapp has been retired from the NFL for nearly a decade… but he’ll always be an athlete, which is why he spends most of his time nowadays deep sea fishing.
However, instead of catching some food on a lobster dive near the Florida Keys on Wednesday, the 43-year-old footballer almost became dinner himself!

Now don’t worry… Warren’s already recovering from the 4-foot nurse shark bite directly on his elbow, but the pic is probably a little more graphic than you’re expecting.
He may even need to get stitches!
