Police had been searching for 20-year-old Ryan Walton after both of his parents were found murdered in their Texas mansion on May 29th.
They finally found him inside of a Houston area burger joint, as he nervously tried to order his lunch.
The restaurant’s owner, Bill McKinney, noticed Walton standing in his store and described his odd behavior to reporters, saying:
“He’s standing there at the window looking at me like he’s in a panic mode, like wanting to get that order quick. And I ignored him. I didn’t want to deal with him.├óΓé¼┬¥
And that allowed police enough time to get to the scene and arrest Ryan and charge him with killing his mom and dad!
They knew he was nearby after an off-duty sheriff’s sergeant spotted the BMW that once belonged to his mother in the area. Ryan allegedly took off in the vehicle soon after fatally shooting his parents.
His older brother Derrick Walton, 24, found the bodies of Michael and Lynda Walton and called 9-1-1. Cops cleared Derrick and then began looking for Ryan, who had recently dropped out of Texas A&M University and moved out of his parent’s home.
Neighbors in this gated community were shocked to learn the details of this crime. Michael had developed the subdivision where they lived in Katy, Texas.
Authorities are still unsure if Ryan had any motive. He is being held without bond on two murder charges.
Such a tragedy!
