First and foremost, let’s get it out of the way: “Weinergate” sounds HIGHlarious, and it’s not lost on us that his last name is Weiner and there about a million jokes about him allegedly tweeting a picture of his weiner.
Now, for those of you who don’t know, last Friday, New York Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner found himself in a bit of controversy as a picture of what is allegedly his bulge in some tight undies was sent to a college student named Gennette Cordova.
Cordova says she doesn’t know him, but knows of his work. Weiner won’t answer questions as to why out of 48k followers that of the 300 he follows, one of them is a college student from Seattle that he has never met.
Also, of course, Weiner denies he doesn’t know how to use Twitter sent it, and that it was hacked. He also has “hired a lawyer” to look into it.
Except, and this is where the plot thickens, nobody has been able to find the lawyer. Not only that, but hacking is a police matter, and after this amount of time he hasn’t contacted them. In fact, he’s claiming that it’s all just a distraction from the real goings on at hand.
We agree, it is a distraction, but one you possibly caused. Especially as a newly married man (the Clintons were all in attendance, and his wife works for Hilary), shouldn’t you be focused on your work and not be distracted by (allegedly) sending pictures of your Little Anthony Weiner to some college girl in Seattle? Isn’t that something that the public should know in case that type of character defining action is something the people DON’T want in a Congressman?
And shouldn’t you be worried at all about how you’re handling a boner like this?
LOLz! We couldn’t resist!
What do U think happened? Was he hacked or just terrible with Twitter?
