We couldn’t tell you the last time we were at a Wendy’s and we thought, you know what, the only thing that could make this more fab would a fireplace! Actually, we couldn’t tell you the last time we were at a Wendy’s at all! LOLz!
Still, the red-headed fast food vixen is aiming to fancy up the joint a bit — with ‘fireplaces’ and ‘lounges.’ Because nothing says ‘unhealthy food’ quite like eating it in a lounge! Ha!
In addition to all of that, the restaurant chain is getting a brand new logo and a store remodel that involves “lounge seating with fireplaces, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi and digital menuboards.” The new design is already done in 80 of the chain’s stores, with another 200 coming this year and more than 600 at the end of 2015, which is right around when they’ll want to remodel again. If your imagination isn’t very good, you can just peep the pic (above) to know what’s going on!
Here’s what the designer says:
“The hearth at home is a gathering place. It’s warm, it’s comfortable, it says stay and relax, as opposed to, this is fast food, get in and get out as quickly as possible.”
