We hope 30 Rock star Judah Friedlander is telling the truth!
The actor and comedian played Molly Shannon’s cheating husband in Wet Hot American Summer and is apparently coming back for the prequel that we’ve been crossing our fingers for since the possibility was suggested.
During a recent Q&A interview, Friedlander said:
“I start filming 30 Rock in a few weeks, and that├óΓé¼Γäóll keep me busy until just before Christmas. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been told that they├óΓé¼Γäóre making the prequel to Wet Hot American Summer and that I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to be in that. I don├óΓé¼Γäót know any firm start dates, but I heard it might be happening in January.”
The key word here is “might,” so we can’t be that mad at him if it doesn’t happen, but it would be awesome if it did.
January isn’t summer, but if you’re in the right locale, it can be just as wet and hot.
