Wet Seal Partners Up With A Nobody

Wet Seal has announced Kristinia DeBarge will be coming on board to pick out “fashionable” pieces to sell.
Wait. Who?
If you’re going to partner up with a celebrity to hawk clothes, at least make it someone with name recognition!
Apparently DeBarge is a recording artist. Up and never coming, we guess?
But Wet Seal thinks she’s perfect for the company saying “Kristinia is a talented, new, fresh face, and is perfect for the Wet Seal brand. She is approachable, fashionable, and sings about topics important to teens.”
According to the New York Post those topics include Prada and Gucci, which she sings about in one of her songs.
But the “singer” claims she’s shopped at Wet Seal for years, obviously when she’s not looking around at Prada or Gucci, and is excited to be working with the company.
We would be too if it was the only thing that would take us!
We expect her pieces will be on the sale rack within a month of launching.
