We know these two are already fighting against tradition…maybe they’ll take it further and just go by “Mr.” and “Mrs.” Ha!
As the royal wedding approaches, the question of royal titles has come up, and it looks like Kate and William have a few options.
As far as William is concerned, he COULD remain HRH Prince William of Wales, but if he decides to go for something more elaborate, he could become the Duke of Clarence, Cambridge, Connaught, Sussex, Kendal, Avondale, Strathearn, or Teviotdale.
Kate Middleton COULD become HRH Princess William of Wales, or possibly Princess Catherine of Wales (with the Queen’s approval).
Given Princess Diana’s associations with the title “Princess of Wales,” she has chosen not to take that title though. If William becomes a duke, she could end up as the Duchess of Clarence, Cambridge, Connaught, and all the other options listed above for William.
Should be inneresting to see what titles they end up with!
