Whatever Happened To That Dude That Got Pregnant? ?

Remember Thomas Beaties aka “The Pregnant Man”??
It’s been over three years since he made international for being the first “man” to give birth. In that time Tom, who had a sex change operation to become a man over a decade ago, has given birth THREE times! Now he and his wife Nancy are just trying to have a “normal” family, but it’s been, like, a lot hardened than anticipated!
Tom reveals:

“We have had a rough ride. We have had death threats, crazies. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been called a freak. The really nasty stuff has come online, with email, Facebook and YouTube.”

Though a lot of the messages they get are friendly, the 38-year-old father says:

“Some of it has been terrifying. One man has made videos pretending he has kidnapped Susan. He has a Susan doll and he hits her over and over. It├óΓé¼Γäós sick.”

Um… WTF??
Despite the nut jobs, Thomas is determined that his kids grow up as normal as possible. Even though Tom his wife’s extended family has cut ties with them over their method of conception and birth, Tom is convinced the local community will treat them like regular kids.

“Am I worried about the children being bullied because of me? No. All children get bullied for being different. I was picked on for being mixed race (my father is Korean), but that doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean I should never have been born.”

We hope things turn up for “The Pregnant Man” and his family!
Hurdling HUGE obstacles to have children should is a beautiful thing. Tom, Nancy and the kids they worked so hard to bring into the world deserve happiness.
