White House Ordered To Reinstate CNN Reporter Jim Acosta's Press Pass

A federal judge sided with CNN and  Jim Acosta on Friday, ordering the White House to immediately reinstate the journalist’s press pass after Donald Trump‘s administration had it suspended.
As we previously reported, the network filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, alleging that both parties’ First and Fifth Amendment rights were being violated. Judge Timothy J. Kelly granted CNN’s request for a temporary restraining order, although the reinstatement is not permanent.

According to his ruling, the Chief White House Correspondent was not provided due process. It’s said the White House could revoke Acosta’s pass again.
CNN has also requested “permanent relief,” asking Judge Kelly to declare it was unconstitutional for Trump to revoke the reporter’s pass. If granted, this would also protect all reporters!
The judge isn’t expected to rule on this for a few weeks, but we’ll continue to keep you updated.
Especially if the White House has a response about the latest ruling!
