The only time star power can be gathered together like this is for an awards show or a funeral. We’re so sorry to say its the latter, but we’re pleased so many people planning on making the trip to say goodbye to a beloved talent.
The number of A-list stars expected to be at Whitney Houston’s funeral tomorrow has grown to almost a dozen recognizable stars. Besides the previously announce attendees like Oprah and Kevin Costner, friends and admirers such as Beyonc├â┬⌐, Jay-Z, Elton John, Bill Cosby, and David Bowie are all expected to attend the service at Newark, New Jersey├óΓé¼Γäós New Hope Baptist Church.
Of the service, New Hope church Pastor Joe A. Carter told the New Jersey Star-Ledger:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós going to be a ceremony that reflects her life. A celebration of Whitney├óΓé¼Γäós life, with the participation of many people who are very important in Whitney├óΓé¼Γäós life.”
And who better to celebrate her life than those who loved and knew her best.
It will be a somber occasion, but hopefully one that brings a lot of people closer to peace with her passing.
