Whoopi seems to be keeping herself pretty busy these days.
As we mentioned earlier this week, Whoopi signed a new development deal with Discovery Emerging Networks and will be in charge of developing series for the Investigation Discovery and Science Channel.
And now, Miz Goldberg is going back to her beginnings. Somewhat.
Whoopi is set to produce a stage version of Sister Act to play in London.
The musical, based on Whoopi’s 1992 hit, will open on June 2nd, 2009 at the London Palladium and will have preview performances starting May 6th.
Unfortunately, Whoopi will not be starring in the musical.
We can’t wait to see it though.
