Whoopi Goes To Extreme Measures

Who knew Whoopi Goldberg was so afraid of flying?
Last month she couldn’t even get on a plane. She had to take a bus cross country to get to California, where The View was filming for a week.
During a recent trip to London a week and some change ago, Goldberg was so frightened she needed medical help.
Whoopi had to fly overseas for the musical version of her hit film, Sister Act, which starts previews next month and she is producing.
But aside from going on a private jet, she also needed a doctor to accompany her. And the doc was nearby the entire time with some syringes and sedatives in case she had a panic attack.
Scary!
She even had to prepare for the flight through a program where she had to sit down with a psychologist and a pilot.
Whoopi says about that flight, “I had a guy with me, but I didn’t need it. I’m kinda proud.” She adds that now “I’m going to fly to the West Coast to surprise my daughter.”
Way to go, gurl. Conquer those fears!
