This is a weird feeling….
It’s not everyday we question the word of Whoopi Goldberg in favor of the The National Enquirer, but that day has come, and it feels gross.
Here’s how this whole thing started: The ladies on The View were talking about The Enquirer‘s tacky pics of Whitney Houston in her casket. That’s when Whoopi said:
“When my dad passed away they ran his picture on the cover or the Enquirer.”
A claim that the weekly magazine says in a bold-faced lie. They say:
“Our paper NEVER ran a coffin pic of Whoopi├óΓé¼Γäós estranged father, a preacher who died of cancer and AIDS, on our front page ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ OR ANY PAGE! ANYTIME! EVER!!
Further, extensive research reveals that NO open-casket photo of Whoopi├óΓé¼Γäós father was ever published anywhere! (Had you been flying that day, m├óΓé¼Γäódear?)”
Yikes!
Why would Whoopi lie about something that tragic?
We hope the Enquirer is wrong, but we’re not sure they are!
