The Who! They know they suck!
The Who’s singer Roger Daltrey has as much complaints with his Super Bowl performance as anyone else does! Roger spoke to ESPN about the gig he had with bandmate Pete Townshend and how disappointed he was with the results. He said:
“Cameras were everywhere, I was so blinded that I couldn’t see. And I really wished the crowd would have gotten into singing the songs with us more. That’s how it is in Europe for our soccer matches. I wanted more banter.”
Pete Townshend agreed with his mate, saying:
“We were trying to put on a good show, we had as fun as we could have.”
Too bad everyone else didn’t.
A valiant effort fellas, but maybe you should stay over in Europe.
