Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s rumored wedding venue might be the final nail in one of her friendship’s coffins.
As you know, Blake Lively and Tay Tay haven’t been doing so hot since the whole It Ends With Us legal drama came about. Once upon a time we would’ve never even questioned if the Gossip Girl alum would be at the singer’s wedding — but now it’s more unsure than ever. And Madison Square Garden could pose a huge issue for the actress.

If Tay and Trav DO end up having their wedding at MSG, and Blake doesn’t get an invite, you can imagine how much of a slap in the face that might feel like. That’s exactly what an insider told Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice SubStack on Friday:
“That’s what makes this so devastating. If Taylor were planning a small, intimate ceremony, Blake’s absence would be understandable. But this is Madison Square Garden. Nobody can argue there wasn’t enough room.”
OUCH!!
Yeah, great point. If Blake isn’t there, it’s a very intentional snub.
The source added:
“The bigger the event, the harder it is to explain who’s missing. And Blake is the name everyone immediately looks for.”
They also said this could end up being a very telling “statement” about Taylor and Blake’s friendship:
“This isn’t some exclusive 100-person wedding. We’re talking about an arena. More than 20,000 seats … This isn’t a seating issue. It’s a friendship issue. And the size of the wedding only makes the statement louder.”
But, all this being said, there are other insiders who think MSG might be a “decoy” — just a meeting place for guests before they shuttle to the next location. Hmm… guess we’ll have to wait and see!
