When Brenda Schmitz died of ovarian cancer in September of 2011 the mother of four was definitely thinking ahead.
She wrote a letter to a local radio station in Iowa called Star 102.5 to bring her husband David on its show only after the widowed husband had fallen in love again.
The deceased woman’s letter and David’s newfound love happened to coincide with the show’s annual Christmas wishes program, and so the radio station brought the unsuspecting David Schmitz on!
Her husband David could not hide his tears as his wife’s letter was read on the air. She requested something truly amazing for him and his family….
