
This sounds really, really wrong.
On Friday, Julian Assange‘s WikiLeaks revealed plans to possibly create a dossier of sensitive information on Twitter‘s verified accounts. Verified accounts typically belong to celebrities, high-ranking officials, and other people of prominence.

As for what info would be included in the index, the organization cited “family/job/financial/housing relationships.” The group explained they’d use the data to create a “metric to understand influence networks based on proximity graphs.”
Hmmm…
In response to the announcement, Twitter FLIPPED OUT and slammed WikiLeaks for its hypocrisy.
