There are people who literally track and forecast hamburger trends.
We couldn’t make this stuff up.
Last year’s forecast is similar to this year’s├óΓé¼┬ª rising cost of burgers and an expansion of chicken based burger items.
This will mainly continue into 2013 because of the drought so expect prices to rise and chicken to become more prevalent.
So when it comes to burger joints trying to distract consumers from rising prices, what will they have left to promote??

If burger joints focus on promoting cool new buns, it will not only distract from the rising cost of animal protein, but it will also add an entirely new category to their menus.
Everyone loves getting to choose their bread at Subway, so imagine getting to choose your bun!
Different colors, different flavors, different styles of bread! So many options!
We can’t wait for new buns to start appearing!
