In an attempt to promote his upcoming flick, Land of the Lost, Will Ferrell decided to guest star in an episode of Discovery Channel’s Man vs. Wild. And it turned out to be way more than he expected!
The episode consisted of host, ex-Special Forces soldier Bear Grylls, taking Ferrell on a two-day excursion in the Swedish hinterland to see if they could survive in the cold mountains.
So just what did the two of them do?
Apparently we’ll see them do “what it takes to find food in the forests.” Such as the two “tandem-abseiled off of a helicopter, rappelled down hundred foot frozen waterfalls, improvised snow shoes from saplings and built a shelter to stay warm overnight in freezing temperatures.”
But the best part? They even drink their own urine!!! Oh, and they also bite into reindeer eyeballs.
Ewwwwwwww!
Ferrell confirmed in an interview that “To be able to participate in an episode of Man vs. Wild was a thrill of a lifetime, even though I did get urine-drunk which is sad.”
The episode airs this June, though we’re not too sure we want to see the urine drinking.
