GCB premiered on ABC last night with 7.6 million total viewers and a 2.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demo.
The Kristin Chenoweth-starring show definitely could have had a stronger debut, but we’re thinking it will pick up! Audiences were probably too busy checking out The Lorax to give this new series their full and undivided attention!
On a more positive note, GCB brought in more viewers than The Apprentice (7 million), and we’re hearing that the series’ premiere gave ABC a FIVE-MONTH HIGH in the 10 p.m time slot!!!
