After nearly 13 years out of the music game, Will Smith is back and fresher than ever!
The movie star sent fans into a frenzy on Wednesday after sharing a clip of himself rapping a BRAND NEW track on Instagram — and tbh, it’s kind of fire. Like… dad clinging to his youth fire!

Will wrote that he was “just warmin’ up” alongside the video that shows him spitting some new lines in a recording studio. He also opened up about making the new music in a recent YouTube video, explaining of his career:
“At my peak, I was doing a television show, a movie and an album every year. So it was like churning out that creativity. What happens is you get to a point where you get empty. So I’m excited. I’m reenergized and creating wildly like I used to. I’m ready. I got the beast back.”
It’s a beast that is older, wiser, and no longer gives a fuck about rapping clean apparently. His new lyrics include the word “shit” (gasp!), addressing the divorce rumors, and a line about killing strippers with all the money he has (cover your ears, Jaden Smith!).
