William And Kate Facing Off In Boat Race!

With their North American tour just days away, we’re excited to report Prince William and Kate will be facing off in a boat race on July 4th!

While we’ll be busy celebrating our Independence Day, the couple will be spending the day on Canada’s Prince Edward Island, of which their private secretary has revealed:

“Their Royal Highnesses will ├óΓé¼┬ª team up with Dragonboat racers, taking a boat each ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ although I hasten to add, not themselves paddling, though probably steering ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and they will race across the lake to the opposite bank where crowds will be gathered. After congratulating the winning team, the couple will be welcomed by First Nations people with a traditional ‘smudging’ ceremony.”

After one half of the Royal Couple emerges victorious during this epic boat race, the newlyweds will head to the dunes of the beach and oversea “a range of beach sports” and even “present prizes to the winners of various competitions.”

Wait, we could spend the day at the beach, win prizes, AND meet William and Kate?! Where do we sign up? LOL!

We’ll try to be patient because they are heading to our neck of the woods shortly after, as their next stop is California. Schwing!

Although they are only “steering” and we’re sure it’s all in good fun, we’ll be looking forward to whether man or wife wins the race!
