A little good Will & Kate!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their tour of Canada today with a stop in the Slave Lake Area. In May, one-third of the town was destroyed by a terrible wind-whipped wildfire. In total, 400 homes and business were turned to ash and the area has been really struggling to rebuild.
Hoping to bring the people of Slave Lake some much needed publicity to help their relief effort, William and Kate made time to tour the town and visit with the families that have lost their homes and livelihoods in the second most expensive catastrophe to affect Canada.
So nice of them! Really, they are making such a difference on this trip for so many people. Here’s hoping the people of the Slave Lake get the help they need!
